Mathematical Foundations of V&V Pre-publication NAS Report

From the Various Consequences Blog, I found that the National Academy Press is about to release a report on  the Mathematical Foundations of Validation, Verification and Uncertainty Quantification. The pre-publication version is available on the National Academies Press site.

While reading the pre-publication version, I noted that the study did not seem to make reference to the (too !) recent connection between Compressive Sensing and Uncertainty Quantification as pointed out by Alireza Doostan.. If you recall, his most recent presentations on the subject include:
Alireza applies this technique to speed up the finding of the largest coefficients of a polynomial chaos expansion.

Also from the Various Consequences Blog there was this V&V Workshop at Notre Dame late last year. Abstracts are here.
